PARAMETRIC DESIGN TOOL / CREATIVE CODING 2023 / ESAD MATOSINHOS
Para este exercício, optei por criar uma ferramenta cujo o objetivo seria a criação de posters. Sem ter nenhum tema associado, explorei cores intensas como fundo, o uso arrastado de diversas imagens e para conteúdo textual, utilizei informações relativas ao curso Creative Coding e ao exercício em si.
Numa primeira abordagem ao exercício, fiz experiencias com o uso exclusivo do teclado para a alteração das variáveis tal como o fundo do poster, a posicão das imagens (sendo estas arrastadas pelo uso das setas ou também generadas de forma aleatória pela tela) e a localização horizontal das palavras. Semelhante ao primeiro exercício, criei uma espécie de cabeçalho e rodapé para a sensação de equilíbrio da composição.
Na ultima parte do exercício, resolvi experimentar a opção de utilizar o rato do computador como auxiliar do teclado do mesmo, deixando como ultima escolha: o teclado controla a cor do background, a posição (aleatória) do texto e o rato controla que imagem surge e que imagem e repetida ao longo do trajeto do rato.
Penso que os resultados obtidos são resultados interessantes que servem como um ponto de partida para o entendimento do que e uma ferramenta generativa, para qualquer tipo de fim.

For this exercise, I chose to create a tool aimed at creating posters. Without any associated theme, I explored intense colours as a background, the drag-and-drop use of various images and for textual content, I used information related to the Creative Coding course and the exercise itself.
In a first approach to the exercise, I experimented with the exclusive use of the keyboard to change variables such as the background of the poster, the position of the images (which were dragged using the arrows or also randomly generated by the screen) and the horizontal location of the words. Similar to the first exercise, I created a kind of header and footer to give the composition a sense of balance.
In the last part of the exercise, I decided to experiment with the option of using the computer mouse as an aid to the computer keyboard, leaving it as the last choice: the keyboard controls the colour of the background, the (random) position of the text and the mouse controls which image appears and which image is repeated along the mouse path.
